The benefits of havng a new aerial is having a good wideband Digital aerial will receive all the MUXs (frequencies spread across the UHF band that deliver all the channels) whereas your old aerial will be either A, B or C band where the maximum gain will be centred on the Low, Medium or High frequencies of the UHF band.
Freeview Upgrade
Freeview upgrade gives you extra TV channels, without a monthly fee, that is available across most of the UK. All you need is to pay the one off fee for the receiver box and you're good to go.
